INVEST IN A SENSATIONAL SWEATER DRESS!

If you’re looking to add a new article of clothing to your closet, one that is durable, stylish, comfortable and affordable, then I suggest the sweater dress. Sweater dresses are always in style (yes, even in warm weather) and remain a mainstream fashion item.

Sweater dresses are knitted garments that generally fit as either a pullover, or cardigan style, where the dress opens and fastens down the front. The collars can be V-neck, round, turtleneck, crew neck, etc. Sweater dresses, in addition to being pretty and cozy, are easily maintained by washing or dry cleaning, and the use of a lint roller or pill razor.

Sweater dresses, whether mini, knee length or maxi, look great when worn with a high heeled boot.  Mini sweater dresses and thigh high boots look beyond striking…oh my!

Sweater Dress Fun Fact: Since sweater dresses are generally made with knitted fabrics and are somewhat elastic, with a softer feel or drape than woven fabrics, sweater dresses tend to fit tightly and conform well to the shape of your body, without requiring the tailoring necessary in a woven garment such as darts, flares and gores. Even when additional body shaping is used, it can be knit into the fabric itself, without requiring seams.

Seems to me, the sweater dress might just be the answer to your wardrobe dreams!

Sweater Fun Fact: In British English, a sweater is also referred to as a jumper, pullover or jersey. In the United States, however, a jumper refers to a style of women’s sleeveless dress, worn over a blouse or shirt, and jersey refers to a knit shirt, especially if part of an athletic uniform. In the United States, a sleeveless sweater is often called a sweater vest. The same garment is referred to as a waist coat in the United Kingdom. Ah, such fun…these fun facts! Informational too!

Walk the town in a warm, fuzzy, eye catching sweater dress and look and feel better than the rest!

Invest in a sensational sweater dress!

Although sweater dresses are traditionally made from wool, they are also made from cotton, synthetic fibers or a combination of the two. No matter what material your sweater dress is made of, it will move along with your body, making for a comfortable you!

Sweater Dress Fun Fact: It wasn’t until the late 20th century that the sweater dress increasingly came to be worn as a garment of its own, as opposed to a sweater that you slip on over your shirt. As finer, cozier, softer materials began to be used, it became comfortable to have the knitted garment next to your skin.

Cover the skin you’re in wrapped in an amazing sweater dress!

Sweater Fun Fact: The uniforms that present day ice hockey players wear are sometimes referred to as sweaters, although they more closely resemble the jerseys worn in other sports like soccer. This is because original ice hockey uniforms were simply sweaters with the team’s logo stitched on the front (wear those sweaters when you’re on that frozen, cold ice)! However, as technology changed, so did the uniform sweaters, as the sweaters absorbed too much moisture and became weighed down and bulky throughout the course of the game.

Put my sweater dress suggestion to the test! Wear one and you’ll see that you look and feel your fashion best!

Sweater Dress Tip: Lots of bangle bracelets and perhaps a long chain necklace, or a glamorous choker, will add elegance, style and a youthful look to your sweater dress!

“I’m looking for someone much like yourself who would like to go dancing with me.”

“Only if I can wear my brand new sweater dress. It will move freely along with me.”

“You can dress however you like. You’ll add class and style to any garment you wear.”

“I think I’ll add some thigh high boots, and perhaps put a flower in my hair.”

“Thank you, miss, for agreeing to join me on the dance floor tonight.”

“I appreciate the invitation. My sweater dress will make my mood just right!”

Sweater Dress: Simply a knitted fabric best!
