White is a color at its most complete and pure, the color of perfection. The color meaning of white is purity, innocence, wholeness and completion. Probably the most popular piece of clothing that is predominantly white is the wedding dress!
The color white blends well with all colors, and in fashion, white fabric is often mixed with many other colors to create vast prints and patterns. However, there are times when dressing entirely in white feels just right!
When one is dressed in head to toe white, you illuminate light!
White clothing looks elegant, clean and modern. Being decked out in complete white gives off an extremely contemporary vibe!
White Fun Fact: White is the color that the human eye sees when it looks at light which contains all the wavelengths of the visible color spectrum, at full brightness and without absorption. White does not have a hue.
In the fashion world, white clothing always makes its mark. The old notion that people should not wear white after Labor Day no longer exists, as white garments work well all year long! Be it in jackets, sweaters, pants suits, skirts, dresses, shoes and accessories, white clothing will always belong!
There is something about being dressed in all white that emits a sharp, crisp, clean, put together look. White is the color most often associated with cleanliness. Objects that are expected to be clean, such as refrigerators, sinks, bed linens and towels are traditionally white. Many times, white is the color of doctors, scientists, dentists and nurses lab coats. Even in the kitchen, white tends to be the color most often worn by chefs, bakers and butchers.
Perhaps there is some truth to the cliche that “Cleanliness is next to Godliness.”
The color white does appear pristine and crystal clean!
White Not So Fun Fact: Although white is the color that best represents clean, keeping white clothing clean is difficult. When dressed in all white, you are more than likely to have some smudge somewhere on your clothing by the end of the day!
White Fun Fact: The next time that you are going on a job interview, you may wish to dress in predominantly white clothing. White clothes are interpreted as clean and clinical, giving off an impression of efficiency and organization.
On the flip side, white can also be whimsical!
If you are on a tight budget, you may wish to purchase white accessories, as your shoes, jewelry, handbags, etc. will be able to be mixed and matched with all of your outfits. White accessories pull any outfit together!
In fashion, it is fun to mix colors, however, there are times when dressing completely in one solid color really stands out. The two colors that I feel make the best outfits that consist of all one color are black or white.
When wearing all white, you create an elegant, beautiful sight!
Think of white horses, white German Shepherds, white rabbits, white doves! All of them gorgeous!
So go gorgeous yourself up, and glitz and glam away, wearing all white for the day!
White clothing can be equated with soothing, cool and serene!
The color white wears well on all skin tones. With fair skin, blonde hair and blue eyes, when wearing white, bright red lipstick causes you to stand out, to pop, to fizz. You definitely create an illuminating “it” factor. With medium and dark complexions, and darker hair and eyes, you shine and stand out when dressed all in white, The contrast of the dark and the light is attention grabbing, and unavoidable. Everyone wins wearing white!
The next time that you step out and you want to look polished and just right, drape yourself in white! You’ll be eye candy delight!
White Cloud Fun Fact: Clouds are composed of water droplets or ice crystals mixed with air, very little light that strikes them is absorbed, and most of the light is scattered, appearing to the eye as white.
White clouds are puffy and pretty!
When dressed all in white, you’ll radiate a lovely sight!
